Global Tax Director

Global Tax Director - newly created role, Dublin.

Our client is looking to hire their first Global Tax Director to lead the development of a proactive, strategic tax function with an international reach.

Your key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the group’s global tax strategy

• Partner with the VP of Finance to align tax with business goals

• Lead transfer pricing policy and ensure compliance

• Oversee global tax compliance, filings, and governance

• Manage tax due diligence for acquisitions and integrations

• Collaborate with shared services to improve tax reporting

• Identify opportunities to optimise the group’s effective tax rate

• Turn tax into a value driver through planning and incentives

About You:

• Professionally qualified (CTA, ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)

• Strong leadership in international tax and transfer pricing

• Currently working in a tax leadership role in a multinational environment (ideally with an U.S. head office)

• Commercially focused, with strong technical and stakeholder skills

You will:

• Put your own stamp on the global tax function.

• Have exposure to senior leadership and major commercial decisions

• Shape tax strategy and enhance the group tax structure
