Software Engineer - Python

We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer who enjoys solving real-world problems and wants to build something meaningful — not just lines of code, but tools that help shape smarter decisions in the aviation world.

You’ll be part of a close-knit, collaborative team developing a cloud-based analytics platform that gives aircraft fleet owners and investors the data they need to make informed decisions. It’s a role for someone who likes working across business, data, and technology – and who takes pride in writing high-quality, scalable software.

Your Core Responsibilities / Your Day-to-Day

• Design and develop web applications and cloud solutions that scale efficiently.
• Focus on platform performance, reliability, and security.
• Contribute to DevOps processes – including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud deployments.
• Evolve and maintain the system architecture as the platform grows.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure tech solutions align with user needs and business goals.

Must-Have Experience

We're keen to hear from people who meet all of the following:

• Strong skills in Python or another modern programming language.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms, architecture, and security.
• Experience with SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, or similar databases.
• Comfortable with Flask or similar web frameworks, and API development.
• Familiar with Git and Agile ways of working.

If you’ve worked in aviation, finance, or SaaS before – great, but it’s absolutely not essential.
