Our Client, an an independent asset manager and international active manager of UCITS funds, individual portfolio mandates, ETFs and investment advisory is looking for an experienced Finance and Operations Manager. The position will lead the financial and operational functions and report to the Head of Risk.
This is a hybrid role with a strong benefits package.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with external accounting firm on the preparation of management accounts, financial statements, and tax returns.
• Monitor and manage adherence to minimum capital requirements.
• Work closely with internal and external auditors, addressing any audit findings with effective corrective actions.
• Lead the forecasting and execution of the annual budget.
• Prepare comprehensive board reports and regulatory reporting, ensuring timely and accurate communication with regulatory bodies.
• Oversee relationships with key service providers, including the fund administrator.
• Manage operational tasks such as NAV reconciliation, payments, and supporting the investment team in trade execution.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or business.
• 3-5 years of experience in finance and operations within an investment management or funds services firm.
• A results-oriented approach with the ability to take initiative, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality results on time.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and the operational environment specific to ETFs is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and external partners.
• Demonstrated adaptability and resilience in dynamic environments.
