Title: Payroll Administrator
My client, a leading exclusive distributor and retailer of international brands and related aftersales services in the automotive industry, based in West Dublin, are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their team. Full-time and part-time working hours considered.
Responsibilities:
- End-to-end processing of three payrolls (Weekly x1, Monthly x2) for approximately 450 employees.
- Downloading weekly timesheets and importing hours into the payroll system.
- Setting up new employees and processing leavers.
- Downloading RPNs from ROS and accurately updating employee records.
- Processing all payroll deductions, including pensions, maternity pay, and illness benefits.
- Uploading payroll data and ERR to Revenue via ROS.
- Creating and uploading bank files to the online portal.
- Generating required payroll reports and reconciliations, including P30 returns.
- Liaising with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate monthly payroll reconciliation.
- Undertaking any other ad hoc tasks and/or projects as appropriate.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a payroll administrator role; payroll-related qualification is desirable.
- Robust working knowledge of employment tax regulations and compliance.
- Excellent administrative, organizational, and numeric skills, including competency in payroll systems (SAGE MicroPay Pro) and MS Excel (high proficiency).
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience with time and attendance systems (Snow Technology – UKG Pro) is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
