My client is a successful group based in Kerry, with a global customer base. They are currently recruiting for a technically strong Group Financial Controller to join their senior management team.
Reports to: Group CFO

My client is a successful group based in Kerry, with a global customer base. They are currently recruiting for a technically strong Group Financial Controller to join their senior management team.
Reports to: Group CFO
Responsibilities:
- Manage the reporting of timely and accurate financial information.
- Provide proactive and timely operational and financial analysis, and detailed variance analysis to assist the finance team and senior management in achieving financial goals.
- Monitor, evaluate and strengthen, where needed, local internal accounting controls; manage annual external financial audit.
- Manage the finance departments input into groupwide operational excellence programme.
- Lead individual projects for example; acquisition support, integration of newly acquired businesses, standardisation and automation.
- Be responsible for all statutory reporting
- Support the preparation of annual budgets.
- Manage finance department staff at group locations.
- Manage tax reporting - including corporation tax and VAT.
- Support treasury function and local banking relationships.
- Qualified Accountant with 7+ years post qualification experience in a senior finance management position.
- Strong technical knowledge in accounting, financial reporting, consolidation and financial management including previous experience in this area, together with good knowledge of external audit practices and processes.
- Good awareness of taxation, treasury and risk management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to deal with the most senior management in the group and communicate across all business units.
