I am working with a Global Investment Management Company to appoint a Senior Financial Accountant to manage the financial accounting for multiple Group and affiliated entities.
The Role
The Role
- Preparation and reporting of management information, cash flow forecasting and financial analysis.
- Involvement in the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting process, identifying important data insights where appropriate for team stakeholders.
- Involvement in external audit process and the preparation of entity and consolidated statutory financial statements under IFRS, FRS 102 and Swiss GAAP.
- Responsible for the maintenance and integrity of entity accounting ledgers – exposure is to multiple jurisdictions, including Jersey, UK, Ireland, US and Switzerland.
- Management of monthly close and other control processes and production of month-end management accounts.
- Positive agent for change - assist with driving efficiencies and improvements in the finance transformation programme. Optimise and champion the use of current and future technology.
The Candidate
- Strong record of academic and/or professional achievement.
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent) – 2/3+ years post qualified.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and general system proficiency. .
- Strong Financial Reporting Consolidation experience would be helpful but not essential.
- Working knowledge of SunSystems, Q&A, or PowerBI would be helpful but not essential.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
