The Panel is working exclusively with a niche global investment manager to source a hi-calibre qualified accountant for the role of Finance Manager. You will join a small team of experienced accountants based in Dublin and work closely with their international team based in US, Asia and Europe. Reporting to the Country Head, this role offers the chance to gain invaluable experience within the aviation industry while ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements.

- Ensure a robust control environment for all financial reporting, ensuring compliance with all relevant obligations.
- Assist in the preparation of information required for periodic reporting to the investment team.
- Enhance management information through analysis and commentary on ongoing activities.
- Project manage external audits, coordinating with service providers and reviewing financial information and disclosures.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for technical accounting issues with stakeholders.
- Project manage annual tax reporting for all relevant jurisdictions, liaising with external tax advisors.
- Manage and review quarterly budgets and cash flows for SPV entities.
- Review quarterly distributions and drawdowns, maintaining up-to-date records.
- Calculate recharges for the management company and review waterfall reports prepared by service providers.
- Review SPV entities' quarter-end management accounts.
- Key point of contact and manage the relationship with their 3 party providers in Ireland - auditors, fund administrators and lawyers.
The Candidate
- Big 4/Top 10 trained qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA).
- 3+ years post-qualification experience, in aviation leasing, investment management or fund administration
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in the use of MS Excel.
- Highly motivated individual with the ability to work on own initiative and manage competing priorities to tight reporting deadlines.
- Confident in building relationships and being the primary contact point for a range of senior stakeholders.
- A confident and inquisitive mindset that seeks to fully understand and improve the delivery of responsibilities.
- Willingness to take on additional projects or support others in the department outside direct responsibilities.
