Group Finance Manager
My client is a hugely successful group based in Wicklow.
Due to the continued growth of the group an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Group Finance Manager who will have wide-ranging responsibilities. The successful candidate will report directly to the Group Finance Director and work closely with other senior members of the finance department and therefore have an opportunity to personally learn and grow and contribute to the development of an private multinational company.
Responsibilities:
• Assistance with group restructurings – legal, financial, taxation and company secretarial input
• Management accounting
• Statutory financial accounting and assistance with coordination of audits
• Financial modelling
• Assistance with organising bank financing
• Covenant reporting for banks
• Assessment of projects
• There will be international work associated with this role which will involve travelling to the company’s subsidiaries in Europe
• Assistance with KYC requirements for banks and other parties
• Projects and process improvements
• Other miscellaneous projects.
Due to the nature of the company’s business, the role will be office based.
The person:
• Qualified Accountant with at least five years post qualification experience in a commercial environment.
• Excellent analytical and numerical ability
• Strong Excel skills and you will ideally will have experience of financial modelling / forecasting and project assessments.
• An understanding of the Irish taxation system and company secretarial requirements and the regulatory environment is necessary.
• Previous experience of consolidations an advantage
