Compliance & Risk Manager (AIFM) - 4 Day Week
Our client is seeking a dedicated Compliance & Risk Manager (AIFM) to join their team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the company's adherence to legal and regulatory standards within the renewable energy sector. Our client is a leader in sustainable energy investments and provides asset management services, including origination, development, construction, and operation of assets across Europe.
This is a PCF role and ideally you will have been approved by the CBI in a previous compliance and/or risk role.
The Job

Monitor and assess the effectiveness of compliance measures, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to legal obligations.

Advise and assist relevant personnel in complying with regulatory requirements and company obligations.

Provide regular compliance and risk reports to the Board and engage with legal advisors on regulatory matters.

Oversee the submission of regulatory updates to the Central Bank and act as the point of contact for compliance issues.

Implement and oversee the company's Conflicts of Interest Policy and ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering procedures.
The Candidate

Proven experience in Regulatory Compliance and/or Fund/Operational Risk Management roles.

Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements within the financial sector.

Excellent communication skills for reporting and advising on compliance matters.

Ability to manage and coordinate internal audit activities and maintain risk management frameworks.

Experience in monitoring regulatory submissions and ensuring timely compliance with risk limits.
