Title: Group Central Finance Manager
My client, a long-established distributor of commercial vehicles, within Ireland and the UK, is seeking a Group Central Finance Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to join a company that distributes globally
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with finance managers for consistent, accurate, and timely month-end closes
- Lead month-end close for central businesses
- Support group-wide month-end close
- Manage group central annual audit
- Prepare budgets and forecasts for central/group-level operations
- Prepare cashflow forecasts and reports
- Manage working capital and treasury with relevant stakeholders
- Lead financial projects and tactical initiatives
- Assist with AP/AR management
- Lead and mentor central finance team
- Oversee UK/Ireland payroll processes and reporting
- Manage expenses and headcount analysis
- Ensure statutory and tax compliance across the group
- Manage HMRC/Revenue matters, MVRIS, TAN accounts, and other filings
Requirements:
- Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA) and a demonstrated track record of financial experience.
- Thorough understanding of the motor industry and its financial dynamics.
- Strong communicator, excellent organisational and time management skills
- Commercial awareness with the ability to provide financial insights to drive business growth.
- Proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and modelling.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Highly analytical and numerical with excellent attention to detail.
