Quality Assurance & Fund Accounting Oversight, Director

Our client is seeking a Quality Assurance & Fund Accounting Oversight Director to play a pivotal role in fund accounting oversight within a global model. This role focuses on ensuring high-quality NAV reviews across multiple locations, driving analytical excellence and innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will lead projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of fund accounting processes, while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities

• Conduct final accounting reviews of NAVs across various locations within defined schedules.
• Develop and implement analytical tools and review procedures to enhance NAV delivery quality.
• Lead Quality Assurance initiatives and projects to ensure consistent high-quality outputs.
• Design and improve policies, procedures, and controls based on observations and best practices.
• Build and manage relationships with senior management and business owners to champion deliverables.

Requirements

• Experience in the Private Equity industry is essential, with a background in public accounting or fund administration being advantageous.
• Strong technical skills with a solid understanding of US GAAP and hedge fund structures.
• Knowledge of accounting standards such as IFRS and regulatory requirements like UCITS and AIF is beneficial.
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting and operational issues related to fund administration.
• Ability to work under pressure, independently, and as part of a global team, liaising across all levels of support structures.
