Compliance Manager - Fintech/Insurance Fully Remote

Are you a Senior Manager (CF) looking to step up to a PCF role? This is a fully remote Head of Compliance position for a Fintech Company in the Insurance industry. Reporting directly to the CEO.

The Role

• Maintain robust compliance framework, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements in the Republic of Ireland.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all compliance-related matters and provide guidance to internal stakeholders on regulatory issues.
• Oversee the day-to-day compliance activities, including monitoring and surveillance programs, risk assessments, and regulatory reporting.
• Preparation and execution of the regular Risk & Compliance Forum.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Act as the MLRO and ensure timely reporting of suspicious transactions to relevant authorities in accordance with legal obligations.

The Candidate

• Hold a recognised Compliance Officers ’qualification.
• Proven experience in a compliance leadership role within the financial services industry, with a focus on insurance and/or fintech sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks, including AML, CTF, GDPR, and other applicable laws and regulations.
• Strong understanding of compliance best practices, risk management principles, and internal control frameworks.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a track record.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work both independently and in a project environment, handle multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
