Our client, a niche investment manager, is seeking a dynamic Fund Services Associate, to join their small team in Dublin. The FS Associate will work across fund structures, fund controls, distribution operations, fund documentation, oversight of fund service providers and fund projects/development. This is a unique opportunity for someone with 1-3 years in Fund Accounting looking to move into Investment management.

- Act as the primary point of contact for third-party Fund Administrators for European Funds, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Manage oversight of all European Fund expenses, including budgeting, accruals, and processing invoices, management fees, and VAT returns.
- Handle the setup and processing of rebates and retrocessions, including new agreements and payment calculations.
- Coordinate the UCITS Funds’ dividend/distribution process, ensuring accurate calculations and notifications.
- Assist in launching new funds/products and implementing fund changes, providing general support for fund services globally.
Requirements
- 1-3 years experience in fund accounting within a fund administrator or in funds audit with an accounting firm.
- Demonstrated knowledge of investment products, fund structures, and asset classes, including equity and fixed income.
- Familiarity with the responsibilities of a Transfer Agent for UCITS funds.
- Strong understanding of fund accounting, particularly fund accruals and expenses.
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to interface effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
