Title: Finance Business Partner
My client, a well-known Professional Services advisory body providing regulation and support to professionals in Ireland is seeking a dedicated Finance Business Partner to join their team in Dublin City Centre.
This is a full-time permanent role offering a hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days work from home.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with directorates and departments to align budgets with strategic goals and provide financial insights for projects and strategic decisions.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor financial performance, investigating variances and preparing tailored management accounts.
- Analyze financial and operational performance indicators to support decision-making and provide tailored financial reports and insights.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies and regulations, identifying opportunities for process improvements and managing financial risks.
- Build trusted relationships across the organization, fostering financial literacy and ownership among stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/CPA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent with a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a professional membership body, education, not-for-profit, or public sector.
- Proven track record in financial analysis, planning, and business partnering, with experience supporting strategic decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to align financial goals with business objectives.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems (e.g., Sage, SAP, Oracle), with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
