Title: Financial Accountant
( 9-month contract)
My client, a leading international law and professional services firm based in Dublin city centre is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including detailed commentary and analysis.
- Complete monthly reconciliations and balance sheet analyses, presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Manage intercompany reconciliations and consolidate management accounts for Irish entities.
- Assist with annual budget planning, forecasting processes, and audit engagements.
- Ensure compliance with VAT, VIES, and corporation tax filing deadlines, liaising with relevant authorities.
Requirements:
- Professional accountancy qualification (ACA or equivalent) with at least 1-2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Advanced technical accounting skills and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across teams.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing competing priorities effectively.
