Finance Manager
My client is a leading construction company with operations across Ireland & the UK. They are currently looking to recruit a Finance Manager for their offices in West Dublin.
Reports to: Financial Controller.
Main duties:
Salary: €100k plus benefits
Hybrid working, 3 days on site
My client is a leading construction company with operations across Ireland & the UK. They are currently looking to recruit a Finance Manager for their offices in West Dublin.
Reports to: Financial Controller.
Main duties:
- Lead and develop the finance team, taking responsibilities for finance deliverables;
- Foster excellent relationships with key stakeholders including directors, senior management, external surveyors and creditors, external auditors and internal employees;
- Oversight of financial controls and procedures;
- Preparation of management accounts, monthly cost value (CV) accounts and plant departments reports, including reconciliation to General Ledger;
- Management of Fixed Asset Register, monthly reconciliation to Fixed Assets Register, reporting additions, disposals and depreciation;
- Oversight of monthly and weekly payroll for Ireland and the UK
- Management of all supplier payment process and weekly payment runs;
- Oversight of Purchase to Payments, Controls and Procedures;
- Weekly review of debtors, oversee credit control, bank balances, cash allocation, debt procedures and reports, and associated VAT management;
- Qualified Accountant with several years’ pqe
- Strong team leadership experience;
- Experience in implementing policies and controls;
- Strong stakeholder management skills;
- Exceptional technical financial management expertise, preferably within a large company environment;
- Strong organisational skills
