Finance Business Partner – 12 month contract
My client is a growing Irish company in the manufacturing sector, based in Meath.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer you will be joining a company with strong established businesses in both Ireland & UK with expanding international opportunities.
Responsibilities
• Responsibility for the preparation of monthly management accounts as they pertain to this role along with associated areas of responsibility:
➢ Absorption Costing.
➢ Monthly maintenance of the fixed asset register.
➢ Responsibility for correct recording of revenue & cost of sales for fleet units sold.
• Financial Planning and Analysis:
➢ Working as part of the business team to deliver financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling on a quarterly, and annual basis.
• Participate in projects as required:
➢ Manage projects that will deliver improvements to the company’s performance, optimise net working capital cycles, margin strategies or valuation.
• Collaborate with senior business management to create budgets and track KPIs
• Meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
• Knows and adheres to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Ensures the accuracy of the costings used for pricing.
• Working closely with the factory management regarding standard costing & absorption costing principles
• Work across the different business units to acquire the necessary knowledge of systems and processes to be able to carry out financial accounts work.
The person
• Qualified Accountant with several years’ pqe
• Must have minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment,
• manufacturing industry.
• Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate
• Financial data into actionable insights.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis, financial reporting.
• Has experience in process improvement projects and managing change.
Salary: €100k - €110k plus 10% completion bonus
Hybrid working, 3 days on site
