Head of Finance - PE backed firm (retained assignment)

The Panel has been retained to source a commercially minded Head of Finance to join a dynamic, PE-backed business. This is a high-impact leadership role for an entrepreneurial finance professional who can act as the key liaison with the private equity firm and drive strategic financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own all financial operations, reporting, and planning
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Provide strategic insight to support business growth and value creation
• Partner with the CEO and Board on key decisions
• Act as the primary point of contact with the private equity investors
• Support M&A activity, fundraising, and exit planning as required
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team

Key Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 8 - 12 years PQE.
• Experience in financial leadership roles with a strong preference for experience in a PE-backed environment
• Strong commercial acumen and hands-on approach
• Background in Financial Services or industry welcome
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
