Our client is seeking a commercially-minded Legal Counsel to join their legal team in Ireland.
This is a newly created role that will report to the General Counsel.

Our client is seeking a commercially-minded Legal Counsel to join their legal team in Ireland.
This is a newly created role that will report to the General Counsel.
Key points:
- You must live in Ireland to be considered for this role
- You must be able to attend the Dublin office twice per month (this may reduce to once per month over time). The office is available everyday if you'd prefer a hybrid model
- This opportunity will suit lawyers with 2-5 years pqe (working in the tech department of a large firm or in-house in a tech business)
- Experience of technology contracts (preferably SaaS agreements) is essential.
The Legal Counsel will play a key role in supporting the business across various areas, including commercial contracts, privacy, employment, and corporate governance. Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and review a variety of commercial contracts, including SaaS license agreements, vendor agreements, NDAs, and DPAs.
- Advise on regulatory compliance, particularly GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, and the EU AI Act.
- Provide legal counsel to teams across the business, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Finance, and People Operations.
- Support corporate governance tasks, including entity compliance and employment-related legal matters.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve legal service delivery through automation and technology.
Requirements
- Qualified as a solicitor, barrister, with approximately 2-5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Proficiency in negotiating commercial contracts, preferably SaaS licensing agreement and knowledge of AI and data protection regulations.
- Strong organizational skills, proactive mindset, and ability to prioritize effectively.
- Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with excellent communication skills and intellectual curiosity.
