DP Capital and Financial Management - AFIM

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to take on the role of Designated Person for Capital & Financial Management. It offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and expanding organisation specialising in alternative investment solutions. Italian markets knowledge would be very desirable for this role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct minimum capital assessment calculations and ensure the entity's capital adequacy.
• Oversee the production, audit, and approval of fund financial statements and management company accounts.
• Report to the board on a quarterly basis regarding the role's requirements and deliverables.
• Execute delegate oversight requirements, including policy review and approval, in collaboration with other Designated Persons.
• Manage filing of regulatory returns and support onboarding procedures for new fund launches.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounting or finance within the asset management or funds industry.
• Familiarity with fund financial statement production and minimum capital requirements for fund management companies.
• Strong communication, analytical, and report-writing skills with a solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to represent the organisation with industry stakeholders, delegates, and boards effectively.
• Knowledge of regulations and guidance from the Central Bank of Ireland, CONSOB, Bank of Italy, and other European regulatory bodies
