SVP Fund Ops Control - Fund Services

Our client, a global funds firm with a significant presence in Ireland, is seeking an SVP, Fund Operations Controls to join their Product Management team. This role will lead the Controls function within Fund Accounting, with responsibility for ensuring a robust and effective control framework across key operational areas.

This is a particularly exciting time to join the firm. They are industry leaders in the adoption of AI-driven controls within operations, and this role will play a central part in designing, implementing, and rolling out innovative AI-based controls alongside the existing control framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the development of critical control products and solutions with significant impact across Fund Accounting.

• Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert within the Product Management team and across the wider organization.

• Partner closely with Product Managers and Directors to ensure strong alignment and execution of product strategy.

• Influence product direction at a strategic level, working on business-critical and highly innovative initiatives.

• Provide day-to-day technical and design leadership across multiple initiatives.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• 8–10+ years’ experience in Fund Accounting with a strong controls focus, or Fund Accounting experience followed by a dedicated controls role.

• Proven experience creating and executing strategic product roadmaps in a complex, highly matrixed environment.

• Demonstrated success building and launching products from ideation through delivery and ongoing enhancement.

• Deep understanding of agile methodologies, with experience working across multiple scrum teams on parallel initiatives.

• Strong capability in managing technical and design direction across control-focused product builds.
