Our client, a professional services firm that continues to grow, has newly created an HR Business Partner role to support the evolving needs of their people and leadership team. This is a hands-on position that blends operational HR with trusted partnering, offering real scope to shape how HR supports a modern, expanding accounting practice.
This role suits someone who enjoys variety, values strong relationships, and is comfortable balancing day-to-day HR delivery with longer-term people initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Acting as the first point of contact for employee and manager HR queries
- Advising on employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning as the firm grows
- Reviewing and improving HR policies, processes, and documentation
- Partnering with leaders on performance management, development, and engagement
- Supporting change initiatives, including organisational growth and role design
- Managing HR data, reporting, and systems to support informed decision-making
Ideal candidate
- 4+ years’ experience across generalist HR or HR business partnering
- The confidence to influence and advise senior stakeholders
- A practical, people-centred approach with sound judgement
- An appreciation of diverse working styles, backgrounds, and career stages
- The ability to adapt in a changing, growth-oriented environment
- A CIPD qualification or equivalent is highly desirable, along with relevant education in Human Resources, Business, or Law.
