Our client, a leading retail and property organisation, is seeking a Finance Director to join its senior leadership team. This is a senior, high-impact role within a dynamic, multi-brand business spanning retail, wholesale, and property. The Finance Director will play a key role in driving financial performance, strengthening governance, and supporting growth through strategic initiatives and acquisitions. The role suits a commercially minded finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership to support commercial and operational objectives across retail and property.

• Ensure strong financial governance, controls, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

• Lead financial and management reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.

• Partner with senior leadership to improve profitability across company-owned and franchised stores.

• Oversee acquisition-related financial due diligence, valuation, integration, and risk management.

Key Requirements

• Qualified accountant with 10+ years’ post-qualification experience, ideally at Finance Director level.

• Strong background in retail, FMCG, and/or property environments.

• Proven expertise in financial reporting, forecasting, and analytics.

• Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing finance teams.

• Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills with strong commercial awareness.
