Investment Operations Manager

Our client is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Investment Operations Manager to join their Investment Operations team in Dublin. This role is pivotal in supporting a global asset management team and overseeing the day-to-day operations of a diverse investment portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in Fixed Income Investment Operations, a strong ability to manage a small team, and a passion for operational excellence. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, global environment with exposure to a wide range of financial instruments and markets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily and monthly cash and position reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage trade confirmations and settlements across multiple global markets, including Western Europe, North America, Asia, and Emerging Markets.
• Handle securities and cash transfers, corporate action processing, proxy voting, and performance reporting.
• Coordinate custodian and trust account setups, SWIFT connectivity, and management reporting, while monitoring off-balance sheet collateral and counterparty exposure.
• Support audits and lead special projects as required, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 12-15 years of Fixed Income Investment Operations experience, including team supervision.
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial instruments such as FX trades, government securities, MBS, corporate bonds, high-yield securities, loans, ABS, equities, and private equity investments.
• Proficiency in Bloomberg systems (AIM, BCOL, MARS, PORT), Clearwater Analytics
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, with a preference for candidates familiar with basic SQL database knowledge.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with custodians, trustees, and external investment managers on a daily basis.
