Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, management accounts, statutory and funder reporting.
• Lead and develop the finance team, fostering flexibility and continuous improvement.
• Maintain, improve and implement strong financial processes and cost controls.
• Ensure compliance with Funders, the Charities Regulator, CRO and Governance Code.
• Provide strategic financial insight to the CEO, Senior Management and Board to support key decision-making.
• Present Accounts, Budgets and Financial Matters to the Board.
• Work effectively as part of the Management Team.
• Contribute to commercial and operational decision-making processes.
• Lead or assist on ad hoc projects as required, demonstrating adaptability and openness to change.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• 5+ years’ post-qualified experience in a senior finance leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls, reporting, and budgeting processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of governance and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to build and sustain effective and professional working relationships; being a trusted advisor to Board and Management team.
