Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze project budgets, actual costs, committed spend, and forecasts to ensure accurate financial tracking.
• Prepare weekly project cost reports, variance analyses, and performance dashboards to support informed decision-making.
• Validate cost inputs from procurement, manufacturing, engineering, and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with corporate accounting standards.
• Participate in project review meetings, providing financial insights and recommendations to project managers and stakeholders.
• Develop standardized financial templates, cost models, and reporting tools to improve data accuracy and streamline processes.

Requirements

• Qualified aAccountant with at least 5 years of experience in cost engineering, financial analysis, or project controls within manufacturing, engineering, construction, or similar industries.
• High proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with Power BI is advantageous.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret trends to influence decision-making.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, along with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
