My client is a highly successful Irish group based in South Dublin. Due to continued growth they are now recruiting for a newly created Financial Accountant position. This role would suit a recently qualified accountant who is looking to gain varied experience within a dynamic environment.
The primary focus of this role is the ownership over the preparation of management reporting for an individual business unit. This position will enjoy a high level of exposure to management and offers the opportunity to gain excellent experience in all aspects of the finance function.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, well-organised and reliable, with an exceptional level of attention to detail; a problem solver with a high level of IT proficiency and great degree of confidentiality and discretion. The role will report directly to the Divisional Financial Controller.

The person:
- Highly motivated, ambitious, recently qualified ACA / ACCA (or equivalent).
- Strong academic record.
- A team player, with proven ability to work collectively to meet tight deadlines, but also comfortable working on your own initiative if and when required.
- Ability to produce results, prioritise objectives and schedule work to make best use of time and resources, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Instinctively analytical, focus on problem solving with a high attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an articulate communicator.
- Commercial awareness and strong business acumen.
- Good Microsoft Excel skills, with propensity to learn IT applications.
Salary: €60k - €65k plus benefits
