Our client is seeking a talented Knowledge Lawyer to join their Banking and Finance department. The position involves engaging with legal developments, managing valuable know-how, and delivering client-focused activities. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and are passionate about legal tech and knowledge management.
Responsibilities
•   Monitor and assess new and proposed Irish and EU legislation and case law, producing detailed briefings for internal use.
•   Develop and manage collections of valuable know-how, contributing to the firm's technical positions.
•   Design and deliver education and training courses, alongside related materials, to enhance legal knowledge within the firm.
•   Identify key legal developments of interest to clients, preparing and delivering bespoke client training.
•   Participate in legal tech pilots and implementations, promoting a strong knowledge culture.
Requirements
•   Qualified solicitor, min. 6 years pqe
•   Private practice and banking experienced, preferably within a larger firm.
•   Strong organisational and project management skills, with a target-driven mindset.
•   Excellent understanding of business issues faced by clients and the importance of effective knowledge management.
•   Comprehensive research skills and familiarity with the legislative process in the EU and Ireland.
•   Interest and curiosity in legal tech advancements.
