The Opportunity
As SVP, Mutual Fund Accounting, you will take ownership of the end-to-end NAV production process while championing operational excellence, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will serve as a trusted advisor to key clients and stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions and ensuring the consistent delivery of exceptional service.
This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership, complex investment products, and transformational business initiatives, making it an exciting next step for an accomplished industry professional. You will gain experience in ETF Fund Accounting in this role.
The role
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the daily NAV calculation process, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, control, and regulatory compliance.
- Act as a senior point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships and leading discussions around KPIs, service delivery, governance, product launches, and regulatory developments.
- Drive operational transformation and process improvement initiatives designed to enhance efficiency, scalability, and risk controls.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders and external partners on regulatory change projects, technology enhancements, and business-critical initiatives.
- Play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the fund accounting function and supporting long-term business growth.
The candidate
- 15+ years of fund accounting experience, including at least 3 years working with Invest One.
- Exposure to mutual fund accounting operations at some point in your career and an interest to return to this.
- A strong track record of leading, motivating, and developing high-performing teams.
- Significant client-facing experience with the confidence to engage effectively with senior stakeholders, auditors, clients, and market data providers.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, relationship-management, and organizational skills.
- A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and operational excellence.
