Responsibilities
- Monitor and track public policy and regulatory developments impacting the investment funds and asset management industry at domestic, EU, and international levels.
- Conduct research on legislative and regulatory changes, providing updates to internal teams and industry members.
- Lead advocacy engagements with regulatory bodies and public officials, representing industry positions on key issues.
- Manage working group structures to gather feedback, develop industry positions, and draft advocacy documents such as white papers and consultation responses.
- Communicate critical updates to members, ensuring they are informed of regulatory changes and obligations.
The candidate:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience within the asset management and investment funds industry.
- Strong understanding of the current legislative, regulatory, and compliance environment in financial services.
- Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to engage diplomatically with senior stakeholders.
- Proven project management and workflow skills, with high attention to detail and organisation.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and persuasive advocacy documents.
