Chief Financial Officer - Cavan
Our client is seeking a dynamic and commercially focused Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive leadership team. Operating across Ireland and the UK, this role offers a unique opportunity to drive strategic financial growth and operational excellence in a scaling business.
The CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy, supporting acquisition-led and organic growth, and ensuring robust financial governance.

Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO and the SLT to define and execute the strategic plan, driving both acquisition-led and organic growth initiatives.
- Lead financial input into mergers and acquisitions, including evaluation, due diligence, structuring, and integration processes.
- Develop and implement long-term financial strategies, manage capital structure, and maintain strong banking relationships.
- Provide commercial and operational support, collaborating with senior leadership to optimise pricing, contracts, and profitability.
- Oversee the finance function across Ireland and the UK, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong governance, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, such as CFO or Finance Director, within a growing or multi-entity organisation.
- Significant business partnering experience across all disciplines.
- Strong financial control, reporting, and operational finance background, with experience across multiple jurisdictions (Ireland and UK desirable).
- Exceptional commercial and strategic acumen, with the ability to operate effectively at both boardroom and operational levels.
- Hands-on approach, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing finance teams.
