Chief Financial Officer – Retail
Our client is one of Ireland's leading retail chains with over 1,000 employees across over 20 stores nationwide. The Chief Financial Officer will join the Executive Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in shaping the business's strategic direction.
You are a Chief Financial Officer with:
• An ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification and proven senior finance leadership experience in a commercial, fast-paced environment
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to provide strategic insight alongside hands-on operational delivery
• Experience leading large finance functions, including reporting, forecasting, treasury, risk management, compliance, and internal controls
• A collaborative and pragmatic leadership style, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels
• The confidence to challenge constructively, contribute to senior decision-making, and support growth initiatives
• A detail-oriented approach balanced with strategic focus, comfortable operating both at the board level and in the detail when required
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders without ego or hierarchy
