Project Accountant
My client is a long-established, and hugely successful Irish group based in Wicklow, with operations across Europe.
The business is in a sustained growth phase and they are now hiring a Newly Qualified Accounant to work in a Project Accountant role.
Reporting to the Group Commercial Finance Manager, this is a broad, hands-on role with genuine variety, regular European travel, and clear scope for career progression.

Reporting to the Group Commercial Finance Manager, this is a broad, hands-on role with genuine variety, regular European travel, and clear scope for career progression.
Main duties:
- Accounting responsibility for non-core subsidiaries
- Statutory financial accounting and assistance coordinating audits
- Management accounting and assistance with the group-wide annual budget
- Financial modelling and projections
- Projects and process improvements, including systems implementation support
- Assistance with tax compliance and potential acquisitions
- Other ad-hoc finance projects across the group
The person:
- Recently qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA), straight from practice or with some industry experience
- Strong academic record and excellent analytical and numerical ability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with a fully office-based role and regular international travel to European subsidiaries
