Investment Oversight Officer - 12 month FTC

Our client, a leading investment management firm based in Dublin, is seeking an experienced Investment Oversight Officer for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development and maintenance of a robust investment oversight framework. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, protecting investor interests, and providing strategic leadership in investment oversight activities. This role requires office-based work in Dublin.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive investment oversight policies, procedures, and frameworks in compliance with UCITS Directive, AIFMD, and Central Bank of Ireland requirements.
• Provide senior-level oversight of delegated investment managers, ensuring adherence to policies, risk parameters, and regulatory obligations.
• Lead quarterly and ad-hoc due diligence reviews of investment managers, assessing their resources, performance, and capabilities.
• Monitor and evaluate investment performance, risk metrics, portfolio positioning, and adherence to mandates across all funds.
• Prepare and present detailed investment oversight reports to the Board, Management Committee, and regulatory authorities as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in investment management, fund oversight, or related asset management functions, with prior experience in a PCF role or similar controlled functions in Ireland or the EU.
• Strong understanding of Irish and EU regulatory frameworks, including UCITS Directive, AIFMD, and Central Bank of Ireland requirements.
• Demonstrated expertise in investment strategies, portfolio construction, risk management, and performance measurement.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex investment data and market information.
• Strong project management capabilities and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
