Head of Group Financial Reporting

My client is an established Irish business operating across multiple entities. Due to an internal promotion they are now recruiting a Head of Group Financial Reporting to sit on the finance leadership team and report directly to the CFO.

Main duties:

• Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts and annual financial statements across group entities
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
• Develop and maintain accounting policies in line with relevant standards and regulatory requirements
• Drive process improvements and automation across financial reporting and operations
• Manage the annual audit process end to end, including external auditor relationships
• Oversee intercompany recharges and reconciliations on a systematic basis
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking against budget
• Prepare board papers and support treasury and working capital management
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure reporting integrity

The person:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 8-10+ years of senior financial reporting experience
• Strong background in group consolidation and multi-entity financial management
• Experience working with senior leadership on financial strategy and reporting
• Commercially minded with strong analytical and modelling skills
• Excellent communicator with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Adaptable, detail-oriented, and a strong relationship builder
