Our client is seeking a Senior Compliance Associate to join their EMEA Compliance Team in a permanent, hybrid role based in Dublin. This is a pivotal opportunity to support the delivery of a robust compliance programme for a leading global firm's Irish AIFM, alongside its wider EMEA and Global programmes. Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and implementation of compliance frameworks that enable the launch and distribution of products and funds across EMEA, advising Product Development, Investor Relations, and Private Wealth teams.
- Partner with Product Marketing, Product Specialist, and Operations teams on marketing material design, RFP/RFI review, and client and distributor queries to facilitate EMEA distribution.
- Coordinate pre-trade and post-trade compliance monitoring alongside broader AIFM and EMEA compliance testing programmes.
- Lead regulatory change management projects impacting the AIFM and develop ongoing reporting for senior management and Boards.
- Maintain the AIFM's compliance programme, including assurance monitoring, regulatory reporting, and upkeep of policies, procedures, and logs.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years' compliance, governance, or oversight experience, ideally gained within a ManCo or asset manager.
- Demonstrable knowledge of the regulatory landscape affecting an Irish AIFM, including AIFMD, CP86, SFDR, MiFID II, GDPR, EMIR, DORA, and Central Bank guidance, with a strong grasp of the European funds operating environment (AIFMD/UCITS) and the roles of service providers.
- Proven track record designing and implementing a Fund Management Company's compliance programme across multiple jurisdictions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders up to executive level and document work to a high standard.
- BCL/LLB/BA or equivalent; an LCOI or similar qualification is desirable.
