We're looking for a sharp, experienced 2LOD professional to lead the independent validation programme for one of Ireland's most significant BCBS 239 / RDARR initiatives.
This is a high-visibility role operating at the heart of a fast-moving regulatory programme, with direct exposure to senior governance forums and supervisory engagement.

You'll be responsible for:

• Leading end-to-end delivery of the 2LOD validation plan across data governance, data quality, data lineage and risk reporting — challenging the First Line with rigour and independence
• Managing stakeholders across Risk, Data and Technology, tracking validation outcomes, findings and remediation actions through to closure
• Supporting regulatory engagement and ensuring all reporting, governance and documentation is audit-ready and fit for supervisory scrutiny

You'll need:

• Proven experience in a 2LOD, internal audit or independent validation function within a regulated banking environment
• Strong working knowledge of BCBS 239 principles and ECB RDARR expectations, with the ability to apply them practically and credibly
• A track record of challenging senior stakeholders effectively and producing governance-quality papers suitable for regulators and senior management
