A growing consulting organisation is seeking a Director of Delivery Leadership & Performance to lead consulting standards and leadership capability across a large, multi-disciplinary delivery practice.
This senior role focuses on embedding consistent, high-quality delivery leadership at scale, ensuring strong performance, clear accountability and customer confidence - without direct ownership of PMO governance or commercial control.
You will be a highly visible, client-facing leader, setting expectations, developing senior delivery talent, and intervening early where leadership or performance standards are not met.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Set and enforce delivery leadership and consulting standards
- Own career frameworks, progression paths and leadership development
- Develop Programme Managers, Delivery Leads and senior consultants
- Address underperformance constructively and early
- Act as a senior client-facing leader and escalation point
- Improve delivery outcomes through leadership quality and staffing judgement
- Drive organisation-wide adoption of modern, AI-enabled delivery practices
Experience & Attributes required:
- Senior leadership experience in consulting or professional services
- Proven track record leading large delivery teams
- Strong executive-level customer presence
- Comfortable challenging poor practice and driving improvement
- Calm, decisive and effective in complex environments

- Teams are clearly led, supported and held to account
