Finance Director – Packaging Manufacturing (Ireland and the UK)
Our client is a founder-led packaging manufacturing group across Ireland and the UK. Operating multiple sites, including facilities in Ireland, and recently acquired operations in the UK, they are embarking on a major transformation programme focused on automation, consolidation, and strategic acquisitions to drive organic growth.
You are a Group FD with:
• Qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) currently operating as Finance Director, Group Financial Controller or equivalent in a multi-entity environment
• Proven ability to build management reporting from scratch, including monthly board packs with manufacturing KPIs focused on volume and price drivers
• Strong technical consolidation skills across multiple entities and jurisdictions, coupled with demonstrated FP&A capability
• Experience leading cost reduction initiatives, managing SG&A expenses, and optimising working capital and treasury functions
• Commercial acumen to act as a strategic business partner, supporting M&A activity including disposals, integrations and future acquisitions
• Genuine interest in leveraging technology, AI and automation to transform finance operations
• Hands-on, resilient approach suited to a high-expectation, entrepreneurial founder-led business
