This Manager, Fund Accounting Quality Assurance opportunity sits within a leading investment technology and asset management organisation, focused on delivering outstanding client outcomes through operational excellence. As Manager, Fund Accounting Quality Assurance, this role acts as a first line of defence for Fund Accounting, building a robust and scalable control environment that reduces operational and client risk.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Fund Accounting QA control framework, including documentation standards, key controls and testing protocols, as the Manager, Fund Accounting Quality Assurance.
- Ensure all critical processes are documented with clearly defined controls, and partner with Fund Accounting leadership to embed control designs that mitigate operational and client risk.
- Execute periodic, structured QA testing across NAV production activities—such as reconciliations, pricing and P&L reviews—to validate adherence to and effectiveness of controls.
- Oversee incident management from root-cause analysis through remediation and preventative actions; coordinate with technology, risk and operations to drive timely, sustainable resolutions and process improvements.
- Provide concise reporting to senior management on quality trends, recurring issues and control effectiveness, and track actions from compliance and internal audit findings to closure.
Requirements
- Significant experience (around 7+ years) in Quality Assurance, Fund Accounting or Internal Audit within financial services, suited to a Manager, Fund Accounting Quality Assurance position.
- Strong practical knowledge of Fund Accounting operations, including NAV production, pricing, reconciliations and error management.
- Demonstrated capability in process mapping, control design, operational testing and incident analysis, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and influence stakeholders at multiple levels to drive risk‑mitigating outcomes and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and a disciplined approach to high‑quality execution in a control‑focused environment.
