Buy Side Investment Analyst

Our client is seeking a Buy Side Investment Analyst to join a highly regarded European investment team based in Dublin City Centre. Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed due diligence on potential investment opportunities across companies and sectors in the European corporate credit market
• Review financial statements and balance sheets to support investment analysis and decision-making
• Build and maintain detailed financial models and prepare clear, well-structured investment opinions
• Attend meetings with management teams of prospective investee companies, with some travel required
• Monitor the ongoing performance of portfolio companies and contribute to investment committee discussions

Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience in an investment-related role, such as credit analysis, equity research or corporate finance
• A strong academic background, including at least a 2:1 Honours degree in Finance, Quantitative Studies, Business, Legal, Engineering, or a related discipline
• CFA or ACA qualification is desirable, though not essential
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to build robust financial models 
• Excellent analytical ability, strong commercial awareness, and confident written and verbal communication skills
