Our client is a well-established, high-profile representative organisation with a significant national footprint.
They are now seeking an experienced HR Director to lead the human resources function at a senior level.
Key points:
This is a broad, senior HR leadership mandate covering the full spectrum of human resource management, recruitment and selection, performance management, industrial relations and employee wellbeing. You will work closely with senior management, providing strategic direction on workforce planning, policy development and risk management.

They are now seeking an experienced HR Director to lead the human resources function at a senior level.
Key points:
- This role will suit an experienced HR Manager/Director who is happy to lead a HR function (operationally and strategically).
- Experience of a unionised environment not essential, but helpful.
- There is one direct report.
- The HR function supports c. 100 people.
- 3 days onsite, 2 remote (Dublin 1 location).

You will work closely with senior management, providing strategic direction on workforce planning, policy development and risk management.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic management of all aspects of the HR function across both jurisdictions
- Oversee workforce planning, recruitment and selection processes, engaging with external stakeholders and agencies
- Manage the time and attendance system and all leave types, ensuring policy adherence
- Advise and support line managers on performance management, including probation processes
- Provide regular HR updates to senior leadership
- Lead human resource development and training design and delivery
- Drive policy formulation and development, including the Employee Handbook
- Manage risk as it affects staff and HR, including succession and business continuity planning
- Significant senior-level HR experience, preferably some exposure to industrial relations and unionised environments
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation across Ireland
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior leadership and external agencies
- Experience with HR systems (e.g. time and attendance/HRIS platforms)
