Group Payroll Manager

Our Client is a high-growth, scaling service business with high transaction volumes and is looking for a Group Payroll Manager to take ownership of its payroll operation across multiple jurisdictions. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants to build and improve, not just maintain.

You'll own a fast-paced weekly payroll cycle and lead a team delivering across international markets. Just as important, you'll drive continuous improvement using technology and AI, so the process scales cleanly as the company grows domestically and internationally.

Responsibility

• Oversee and control the weekly payroll process across multiple jurisdictions
• Use technology and AI to improve efficiency and support expansion
• Report payroll metrics to senior management weekly and at period end
• Take first-hand ownership of exceptions and queries, resolving issues and feeding learnings back into stronger controls
• Work with teams across the business to improve the overall worker experience and NPS
• Lead and manage the payroll team, including remote reports

Ideal Candidate 

• 7+ years of experience
• Strong payroll management experience with solid technical knowledge of processes and taxes
• A background in high-growth, scaling service companies with high transaction volumes
• A track record of delivering technical and efficient solutions
• International payroll experience
