Fund Accountant - Alternatives Fund Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fund Accountant who enjoys working autonomously and wants to take ownership of a key role from Dublin while supporting international investment teams.

You will be a confident, highly motivated self-starter with strong communication skills and solid experience in Alternative Investment or Hedge Fund Accounting, gained within either a fund administrator or fund manager environment. You should be comfortable managing your own workload, building relationships across multiple jurisdictions and acting as a trusted point of contact for international stakeholders.

Ideally, you will come from an audit background and have subsequently developed 3 to 5 years' experience in Fund Accounting or Fund Accounting oversight.

We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate:

• Strong Alternative Investment / Hedge Fund Accounting expertise
• 3 to 5 years' Fund Accounting or FA oversight experience
• Experience gained within a fund administrator or investment/fund manager
• An audit background, ideally with exposure to investment funds
• The confidence to work autonomously from Dublin while supporting international teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, self-motivated and solutions-focused approach
• The ability to take ownership and operate effectively in an international environment
