HR Manager - South Dublin

A prominent Irish business is seeking an experienced HR Manager to establish their HR function. With employees located in Dublin, Cork, and Belfast, the company has a robust growth plan in place. This is a unique opportunity to influence the culture and future capabilities of a successful, established organisation. You will report directly to the Managing Director.

Responsibility

This is a hands-on role. You'll set the HR strategy and deliver it yourself, with administrative support from across the business.

 

• Build and implement the HR strategy across all teams and locations, with practical processes, systems and policies that keep the business compliant
• Implement an HRIS to improve people data and reporting, and lead recruitment across the business
• Design and roll out a consistent performance management framework, and review the reward framework so salaries and benefits stay competitive
• Coach managers to become confident people leaders and advise them on all employee relations matters
• Create development pathways for every department to support progression and succession, and help build a culture where people feel informed, supported and proud to work there

Ideal Candidate 

• 8+ years' experience in an HR or People leadership role 
• Experience  building or transforming an HR function and leading organisational change
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation 
• Experience introducing performance management frameworks and reward structures
• Strong coaching and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge senior leaders
• Commercial awareness and the ability to balance people and business priorities
• Well organised, calm under pressure and comfortable working independently
