Digital Assets Security & Technology Consultant

Our client, a leading global investment manager, is building out its digital assets capability and is seeking a Digital Assets Security & Technology Consultant to join its global Digital Assets Security team in Dublin. This role is reporting into the regional Information Security leadership, with real influence over how crypto ETPs/ETFs and tokenised funds are governed and brought to market.

Responsibilities include:

1. Own the definition, delivery and assurance of security and governance controls for crypto ETPs/ETFs and tokenised funds
2. Build out the digital assets security and governance framework alongside the team's strategists
3. Provide independent security assurance, risk assessments and go-live recommendations to senior stakeholders and governance forums
4. Partner with the blockchain team on security governance and assurance of smart contracts and supporting blockchain infrastructure
5. Make sure security controls and risk assessments are evidenced and ready for audit, compliance and regulatory review
6. Lead a targeted digital assets security awareness programme across technology and investment functions

Requirements include:

1. Strong background in security governance, risk and assurance within financial services
2. Experience in crypto ETF/ETP security delivery or the development of tokenised funds
3. Deep understanding of the regulatory landscape for digital assets, with a track record of working with Compliance, Legal, Audit and Regulators
4. Confident challenging product and technology decisions on risk grounds
5. Comfortable applying blockchain technology within a security-by-design framework
6. Organised, calm under pressure and able to bring clarity to ambiguous problems
