Senior Business Transformation Delivery Manager
This Senior Business Transformation Delivery role offers an exciting opportunity to lead complex, high-impact transformation programmes within financial services. Our client is looking for an experienced delivery leader who can shape strategy, manage senior stakeholders, and drive change across business, technology, and regulatory agendas. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys turning ambiguity into clear, value-led outcomes. The position will appeal to candidates who want to influence major programmes, support talented teams, and play a key role in delivering meaningful business change.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end business transformation programmes, ensuring delivery against scope, quality, timelines, budget, and governance standards.
- Build and manage strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, including C-suite leaders, programme directors, and workstream leads.
- Oversee PMO teams, project managers, and delivery workstreams, providing direction, challenge, and support throughout the programme lifecycle.
- Manage risks, issues, interdependencies, forecasts, resource plans, and engagement finances, escalating where appropriate.
- Produce clear, concise presentations, reports, and recommendations for senior governance forums and executive-level audiences.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in senior delivery or consulting roles, with a strong track record in large-scale business transformation programmes within financial services.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder engagements and operate effectively in matrix-managed environments.
- Strong financial and commercial awareness, including experience with business case development, forecasting, billing, and governance.
- Experience leading teams made up of employees, contractors, and strategic partners, alongside a collaborative and supportive leadership style.
- Relevant project and programme management knowledge, ideally with exposure to methods such as PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or PMP.
