Project Accountant
Our client, a PE-backed and fast-growing engineering consultancy, is seeking a Project Accountant to play a central role in its finance transformation. This is a newly created role reporting to the Financial Controller. You will lead the rollout of NetSuite across acquired entities and standardise processes, controls and reporting across the group. A great fit for a qualified accountant who wants real ownership and variety in a high-change environment.
The Role
- Lead the next phases of the NetSuite implementation, rolling it out to all group companies
- Implement consolidation on NetSuite, along with purchase orders and new AP workflows
- Work with compliance partners of overseas subsidiaries to build consistent group processes for tax, VAT and statutory filings
- Maintain and improve internal controls, applying them consistently across all entities
- Select and implement a new employee expenses tool
- Support the annual audit, grants and R&D tax credit processes
- Work with the Financial Controller on acquisition accounting and due diligence
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to support strategic and operational decisions
The Person
- Qualified accountant with 2 to 4 years PQE
- Experience in ERP implementation and/or finance transformation
- Strong technical accounting, including consolidation
- Process mapping and controls implementation experience
- Strong project management: workplans, stakeholders and deadlines across workstreams
- Confident presenting to all levels of management and working with external implementation partners
- M&A or post-acquisition integration experience an advantage
Salary: €85k - €90k plus benefits and excellent flexibility.
Hybrid working, 3 days on site.
