Senior Group Accountant,Co. Wicklow
A well-established, Irish owned group are currently recruiting for a newly created Group Accountant role.
Reports to: Group Commercial Finance Manager.
Main duties:
- Accounting responsibility for non-core subsidiaries
- Statutory financial accounting and audit coordination
- Management accounting and budgeting across the group
- Financial modelling and projections
- Tax compliance
- Systems implementation and process improvement projects
- Assistance with potential acquisitions
- Some international travel to European subsidiaries
The person:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA)
- Strong Excel skills; financial modelling/forecasting experience an advantage
- Experience in a large or multinational finance environment helpful
- Consolidation accounting experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and good interpersonal skills
