The Panel attends the launch of Calcutta Run 2026
On Wednesday 25th of March 2026, the Law Society of Ireland and the Calcutta Run invited the Managing Partners from the law firms and the event sponsors to the launch of this years Calcutta Run.
The Panel is a proud, long-term sponsor of the Calcutta Run, and as such, we were delighted to attend the official launch of Calcutta Run 2026, the legal fundraiser organised by the Law Society of Ireland last week.
The event was kindly sponsored and hosted by A&L Goodbody LLP, and attendees had the opportunity to listen to the charity partners, The Hope Foundation and the Dublin Simon Community, and special guests.
Speaking at the event was Keavy Ryan (Chair & Partner, A&L Goodbody LLP), Rosemarie Loftus (President, Law Society of Ireland), Rossa Fanning (Attorney General), Maura Lennon (CEO, The HOPE Foundation), Catherine Kenny (CEO, Dublin Simon Community), Julie Galbraith (Chief Business Officer and General Counsel of Arachas) and MC Mary Kennedy.
Calcutta Run is the leading legal fundraiser in Ireland, having raised over €5.9 million in support of homelessness in Ireland and Kolkata, India, since 1999. As always, the fundraising initiatives are increasing every year, and 2026 has several to offer:

- Calcutta Run, Dublin – May 23rd
- Calcutta Run, Cork – May 23rd
- Calcutta Run, Galway – May 24th
- Calcutta Run – Tennis Tournament – May 28th
- Calcutta Run – Tag Rugby Tournament – June 6th
